Can you show me what my smile can look like ahead of time?Yes. Dr. Polancich can create diagnostic wax-ups of your teeth and show you how a particular treatment or procedure would change the appearance of your smile. Since you are able to see and touch your potential smile, you can discuss changes and enhancements with Dr. Polancich. Do you accept my insurance plan?We are always happy to help you with your insurance needs. We accept most insurance plans and can help you understand and maximize your dental insurance benefits. When you’re here for services, we will call your insurance provider and get a summary of your benefits. We can even give you an estimate of the services we suggest. We feel, however, that your insurance should never dictate the quality or timing of your treatment. If you have extensive or long term dental care, our office can help you find affordable outside financing. We recommend Wells Fargo, Capital One’s Dental Fee Plan, and Unicorn Financial. What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?If you have an emergency, please call our office number at 859-278-8419 and follow the instructions to contact Dr. Polancich. What different payment options do you provide?Our office accepts cash, check, and credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, Discover or American Express. We offer a 10% senior citizen cash discount. As a reminder, any amount not covered by your insurance is your responsibility. How can I safely whiten my teeth?Many of our patients ask about whitening their teeth. Since each mouth is unique, we need to examine your mouth to recommend a specific method. If your teeth are cracked, chipped or discolored, Dr. Polancich may recommend restorative services, such as veneers or bonding. If you want to bleach your teeth, we use Zoom® in our office. We can also prescribe Nite White® so you can whiten your teeth at home. What makes you different than any other dental practice I can visit?There are a variety of things that make our practice different. First, Dr. Polancich is the only dentist in his office. When you walk in the door, he takes the time to sit down and talk to you. He never overbooks, so you can be assured that when you have an appointment, you are his sole focus. Dr. Polancich is well-versed with a variety of cosmetic and restorative services. Before he performs a single procedure, he can show you what your smile will look like ahead of time with a diagnostic wax-up of your teeth. This wax-up has helped us have thousands of patients who have walked out of our office satisfied after undergoing a smile makeover. Finally, we are here to serve the dental needs of you and your family. During your appointment, we will only recommend the services you need and desire and will strive to make you comfortable using our tools and technology. After your appointment, our office team will schedule your next visit and help you with any insurance or payment concerns you may have. If you have an emergency, Dr. Polancich is always available after hours. My gums bleed after I brush. Is this something to be concerned about?Yes! You should be very concerned about bleeding gums, especially if you haven’t had a checkup in a while. While it may seem harmless, bleeding gums can be caused by a variety of serious health problems, including gum disease. Call us as soon as possible to schedule an appointment so we can analyze the cause. I brush everyday, but my breath just is not fresh. Is there anything I can do?Yes. You can come to our office. We are one of only 300 practices in the United States that has a Fresh Breath Center and we have several options to improve your breath odor. If you have any questions, ask any of us during your appointment or call us at 859-278-8419. I want my front teeth to look better, but I do not want to wear braces. What would you recommend?We offer a variety of cosmetic services that can improve the appearance of your teeth without braces. Dr. Polancich may recommend porcelain veneers or crowns, both of which can change the size, shape and color of your teeth. Since each mouth is different, Dr. Polancich will need to examine your mouth. After listening to your goals and concerns, he can suggest ways to help you straighten your smile, show you how your new smile will look with diagnostic wax-ups of your teeth, and discuss with you possible changes to the treatment. My spouse snores and keeps me up at night. I have heard a dentist might be able to prescribe an appliance that prevents snoring. Can you help?Certainly. We offer snoreguards, a small appliance that holds the mouth and throat open while you sleep and thus, prevents snoring. These devices are easy to use and we custom- fit them to ensure your comfort.
